Text Box: We are a home breeder not a kennel. We are near Bellingham, WA about 80 miles north of Seattle WA & 15 min south of the Canadian border. We started out breeding Pomeranian’s in 1994, then after several years we became foster & adoptive parents and found as great as our little Pom’s were they were not good dogs for young children. We have fostered 79 children and adopted or did guardianship of eleven of them, giving us a total of twelve kids. Once our kids were a bit older we really wanted dogs again, but with grandkids coming we needed dogs that were great with kids. After much research we discovered the wonderful world of Havanese! We are a very reputable breeder and have Havanese puppies for sale a few times a year, We get referrals from vets in 3 states as well as dog trainers and child Psychiatrists since we do special training with our puppies that helps them become excellent Service dogs, Emotional Support dogs and Therapy Dogs as well as excellent pets. Our Havanese puppies are born in our bedroom and stay with us in the living room. We begin socialization on the first day of life. We do Superstar Puppy training that includes “Early Neurological Stimulation”, as well as numerous other training techniques including the rule of 7 and all the great tips in the book The breeders guide to superstar dogs. We also start potty training at 3 weeks, we do puppy kindergarten before they leave, that all assure your Havanese puppy will be healthy, easy to train and enjoy human contact. We only have a few select litters each year and each Dam is only bred if very healthy as they are first and foremost our pets & members of our family, and we want to keep them happy and healthy for years to come. All of our dogs are health tested to make sure we are not passing down anything negative to our puppies. Our puppies are well socialized with our kids who are still at home as well as with our adult kids, grandkids and other family and friends that come to visit once the puppies are old enough. We also take them on drives to visit the elderly and other friends and family members and their animals so they are comfortable in many situations. Finding Havanese has been so wonderful for our entire family. They are truly incredible dogs!
